Samuel and Christina, have just arrived here in Italy after being rescued on a boat in the Mediterranean Sea. They had been living in Libya for the past 3 years where they went in search of a better life. Christina had set up a
beauty salon in the capital, Tripoli, serving both Libyans and migrants, but the increasing chaos led them to try and find somewhere else to go.
“These days in Libya if you’re black you’re treated like an animal,” they said. They were handed the stickers with numbers on them as soon as they arrived. Migrants get sorted onto buses and taken to reception centers according the number given….. they can’t wait to start making millions of euros which all illegal immigrants r always known to make…..
