Bukola Saraki had on Tuesday outwitted Tinubu-backed candidate, Ahmad Lawan, in the race for the nation’s No. 3 position. There was however drama when Remi, wife of Bola Tinubu, refused to shake hands with Saraki after her swearing-in yesterday morning, leaving
his hand hanging and muttering some words to the senate president in a low tone.

Tinubu in a statement at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, said: “I’m not God, but as far as this party is concerned, I’m a leader and I know what is good for the party at the appropriate time.
