Pastor Mathew Asuquo recently lost his son Emmanuel, an HND holder in Computer Science, to the cold hands of death after being set ablaze by a neighbor. The neighbor, Jane Osasa aka Iron Lady, had initially stabbed his wife, Cecelia, on
the head, a matter which he reported at Ajeromi Police Station, Ajegunle, Lagos.

But Jane was released almost immediately due to her influence. She them boasted that she’d give all Mathew’s family members marks that they’d never forget. 3 months later, Jane stabbed Mathew’s daughter, Peace. Again she was released after he reported the case at Ajeromi Police Station. This month again, Jane stabbed Mathew’s niece, Ruth.

He refused to report it at Ajeromi Police Station. He went to Area B, Police Command, Apapa. One CSP Lukas then gave him a letter to Ajeromi Police Station for the immediate arrest of Jane. Jane was arrested but released again. This time around, she was charged to court. But on the court day, she set Mathew’s only son ablaze.

Matthew wrote a petition to the Lagos State deputy police commission while Emmanuel was dying. But ever since the 14th of August that he wrote the petition, he is yet to get a response. Emmanuel is dead now but Matthew still wants an urgent investigation into the matter….. R.I.P to Emmanuel…..
