Davido is under the radar of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for showcasing hard drugs in the video of his new song, “Fans mi.” In the video, he could be seen discussing with a man over a briefcase of dollars and a bag full of parcels of hard drugs. The song
was supposed to promote Davido’s gratitude and appreciation to his fans for their love and support towards his career over the years.
However, he busied himself singing about his enemies and money, showcasing hard drugs, nudity and guns. In a mail exchange with Sunday Telegraph, NDLEA’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said, “The agency considers the musical video ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negatively influence and induce drug use and trafficking. .
Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is investigating the matter and will take necessary action.”…… ds may b d end of his musical career cuz if we find him guilty of promoting d use of hard drugs, he’ll most likely b jailed, he added…….
