There was pandemonium today in the House of Representatives after the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, went against the directives of his party to announce principal officers of the house. President of the House of Assembly, Senator Saraki also
went against party directives to announce Senator Ahmed Lawan and George Akume as principal officers, he instead announced Senator Ali Ndume as the Majority leader.
PDP Reps chanted Dogara! Dogara! after his announcement while APC Reps held up a placard saying “Nigerians voted for party, the party is supreme” while chanting “APC Change.” Both Saraki and Dogara adjourned House sittings till July 21, 2015….. bt their salaries n allowances wld b complete, generous tax payers wld ensure dt……
