Maria Falolu, 14, Jelila Abbass, 15, and Adijat Seidu, 16, were arrested at Ojolowo Street, Otto Awori, Ijanikin area, Lagos, after stealing a set of gold necklace and cash. Their mode of operation is to go to shops and ask for an item which
they know is not available. One or two of them would engage the shop attendant in a discussion while one would steal.
In the case where the owner goes to bring the item from another shop, they would steal items before the owner returns. They’ve been on this professional level for long. They have been arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court, from where they were taken to Idi-Araba Remand Home….. where they r expected to b till they gain admission for their PhDs in any top USA university……
