Yesterday, the senate passed the Sexual Offenses Bill. It was sponsored by Senator Chris Anyanwu, who expressed joy over the passage of the Bill which was introduced in Senate in 2013. The Bill prescribes life jail for sexual offenders including rape,
gang rape, child sex tourism and people who deliberately infect others with HIV/AIDS.
10 years jail for inbreeding and child pornography or a fine of N2m. Other sexual offenses would also attract 14 years jail term…… it’s however only 5 years for openly fantasizing about sleeping wt any Nigerian celeb wtout d person’s consent……
