Fuel scarcity tragedy: How Abuja Environmental Protection Agency Taskforce killed lady a month to her wedding

Miss Anuoluwa Moses, was killed by a trigger happy Naval officer on the convoy of members of the Abuja Environmental Protection Agency at Kado Estate of the FCT on Saturday 16th May 2015. On the said day, they had stormed Kado Estate around
Conoil Oil Filling Station in a bid to arrest and seize petroleum products being hawked by some young men. On sighting the Taskforce which had been accused of killing 2 of them at Wuse 2, the penultimate week, the young men took to their heels.

The action of the Taskforce however infuriated some of the hawkers and they started hauling stones and sand at them. In response, the leader of the Taskforce ordered his men to shoot. In the course of doing so, Anuoluwa, who had just finished having her lunch and was heading back to her office was hit by a stray bullet and died instantly. She was buried last Monday at Suleja, Niger State…… R.I.P to her……
