So to celebrate the season, OAP, Tolulope Oniru, a.k.a Toolz, decided to share some unforgettable moments with the less privileged who live in a forgotten area called
‘Dustbin Estate’ at Ajegunle, a notorious ghetto in Lagos State. And she has this to say:

“Went to the Dustbin Estate in Ajegunle for the first time to donate food and I’m still lost for words. The people there build their houses with planks on refuse dumps. I spoke with the community leader and he said that the government forget about them.

Most of the houses were smaller than my bedroom and had to accommodate whole families sometimes. There’s really no running water and only a handful of the houses have electricity. This is one of the 3 toilets ( pictured top right ) the whole community shares. Can you imagine what it’s like after heavy rain?

Another thing the community leader said they needed is some sort of recreational area for the children. Basically they need EVERYTHING from food, clothes, books etc. To make a donation you can go to:

LOTS Charity Foundation www.lotscharityfoundation.org (You can visit their site to find our more about Dustbin Estate) 08023826171 LOTS Charity Foundation GTBank 0013502376″…… but despite their predicaments, d estate dwellers still took out time to appreciate God for giving Toolz such a monstrous ASSet…..
