Ganiu Amusa, 22, was picked up by the police at Alakuko Divisional Headquarters, Lagos, for allegedly raping a 5-year-old boy. The boy had told his mother, Mrs. Adenike Ejigbo that his anus was
aching him.
When she asked him when he started having the pain, he said since the time Ganiu Amusa had sex with him through the anus. Mrs. Ejigbo immediately reported the matter at Alakuko Police Station where the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Ajayi Abayomi, ordered investigation into the matter and Amusa was arrested.
During interrogation, Amusa allegedly owned up to the offense and was thereafter transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department SCID, Smith Street, Yaba, Lagos for further investigation.
