Wale Jimoh was arrested alongside the aforementioned people during the initiation rites of the Eiye Confraternity at Jakande Roundabout, Small Kuramo, Lekki.
Jimoh’s father is said to be the traditional ruler of a community in the area. They had organized a party at a bar owned by their gang leader, Mafiana, and decided to use the occasion to initiate Ogunkoya. It was at the last stage of the initiation that security operatives, acting on a tip-off, struck.
When the police got there, they met the new member in their midst. He was blindfolded and stark naked. A gun, cutlass and a bottle of gin which contained ground pepper were recovered from the scene….. there were initial panic n apprehension on d whole Island as ppl initially thought d prince arrested was D’Prince of Mavin only to later discover dt it was one bloody Jimoh…..
