Lawal Oluwabusola was arrested by the Airport Police Command for smoking cigarette on board an Arik Air flight from London to Lagos. He was smoking the cigarette in the toilet of the airplane and
this triggered off emergency alarm system causing confusion among passengers. He was apprehended on arrival at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
Police Public Relations Officer Airport Command, Livinus Chukwuma, said his action was at variance with the in-flight safety procedures. He has been arraigned in court on 2 count charges….. n will b very lucky to get less than 25 years in jail…..
