If you are observant enough, you would have notice that Julius Chinweikpe Agwu, the once chubby comedian lost serious weight recently. Well it wasn’t as a result of extreme dieting, it’s due to ill health. He has spilled the details in a tell-it-all interview with YES INTERNATIONAL. He said
he has no recollection of how it started but all he knows is that at some point, he went on and on losing weight, which got many people wondering, with many proffering medical and spiritual solutions.
It got to a head when in May he had a seizure at home and ran out of breath as his wife, Ibiere, battled to halt it. He was rushed to their hospital where he was brought back to life. He was flown to the U.S. thereafter. And admitted to Park Plaza Hospital, Houston. There, two lumps were discovered in his brain.
On the 12th of May, 2015, he underwent a 4-hour surgery and he is now back in the country after taking some deserved rest in the States. While commending his wife, Ibiere, Julius said: “All the vomit; the mess; she was the one brushing and bathing me on the bed and clearing and cleaning them. IB really, really tried for me. The day I had the seizure, she put her finger in my mouth and I bit it.” …… n she didn’t even get annoyed or slap me……
