There was confusion in Kemta-Idi Aba area of Abeokuta, Ogun State yesterday as a passenger slumped and died inside a taxi. The taxi driver only realized that Michael had died when he refused to alight from the cab on getting to his destination, Iyana Mortuary. Upon
realizing that the man was dead, he raised an alarm and took to his heels. He was later persuaded by fellow drivers to take the corpse to the police station where he was eventually detained alongside the corpse. .
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident and said the family of the deceased was later contacted and they claimed Michael had been ill for a long time and had left home early in the morning for Abeokuta to collect herbal remedies not knowing that would be his end….. d driver will soon b charged to court for nt having a valid driver’s license, fire extinguisher n a spare tyre at d time of d incidence…..
