Ufot Ufot Ekong, an Electrical/Electronic Engineering of Tokai University, Japan emerged the best all round graduating student. The last time anyone graduated with his GPA was 50years ago. Mr. Ufot Ekong, a multi-talented Nigerian youth, including
artistry in music, specializing in Saxophone, distinguished himself from the outset in the school when he won the Japanese language best student award.
Since then, the self-sponsored student, combining 2 jobs with studies, proceeded to winning many other awards in the University, altogether numbering about 6. He finished with a first class degree in robotics and electrical engineering. He is now doing his Phd, has two patented products and works with Nissan. Ekong was also able to build an electric car, “eco”, which drives on charged battery within an appreciable distance….. and he is now driving it down to Abuja, Nigeria to celebrate Buhari’s inauguration on May 29……
