Abdullahi Aliyu said he resorted to dealing in drugs when his efforts to join the Army failed. He deals in chloroform across Niger State. The drug variously called ‘suck and die’, ‘suku dai’ or ‘soku daiye’ is used mostly by youths to make them high. 6 youths have
died while inhaling the substance.
