A Federal High Court in Abuja, yesterday, ordered the extradition of a former Managing Director of Nigerian Security, Minting and Printing Company, NSMPC, Mr. Ehidiamhem Okoyomon, to UK within 30 days. He is to be
remanded in prison pending the time the extradition processes would be completed. He is wanted in UK over his alleged role in the bribery involving officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigerian Security and Minting Company and Securency International Pty of Australia

Last year, EFCC indicted him of forgery and identity fraud running into N750million which exchanged hands between officials of the CBN, the NSPM and Securency International Pty of Australia in a contract bribery scam for the printing of N20 polymer notes between 2006 and 2008. The said monies were allegedly delivered through two British businessmen, Benoy Berry and Michael Harvey.

UK Special Fraud Unit and InterPole came to Nigeria where they stayed for 2 week and successfully unearthed incriminating evidence of forgery deals against him. They also traced part of the polymer printing bribery monies to the accounts of his wife, Mrs. Adejoke Ehi Okoyomon in Canada which has also been frozen….. in d spirit of brotherly love, former Delta State governor currently in a UK jail, James Ibori, has promised to give him full orientation of how to survive in prisons out there….
