Mercy Chintua has been arrested for pouring hot water on her co-tenant, Emmanuel Anyaebe, at Akwuke Awkunanaw, Enugu State. She said she committed the act to punish Emmanuel for peeping at her while
she was taking her bath.
She claimed that he saw her naked hot body and that to make him pay for that, she boiled water and poured it on him. She however, blamed the devil for her act and asked for forgiveness. Police spokesman in Enugu State, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, said Emmanuel is now receiving treatment at a hospital…… and now faces up to 25 years in jail if found guilty of peeping……
