The 27-year-old woman accused Blessing Markson of having an affair with her boyfriend in Ushafa, Abuja. Blessing had been calling and sending text messages to her boyfriend, an action which the woman
saw as a threat to the affair.
The trouble heightened after a meal prepared by the suspect for her lover was turned down by him. This got her angry, and in her anger, initiated steps to locate the rival, who she blamed for the twist in her relationship with the man.
Upon locating her, she emptied the hot substance, which was a mixture of pepper and hot ointments on her, leaving part of her face and breasts burnt….. blessing is now facing up to 5 years in jail for attempting to put asunder, what God is seriously planing to join together…..
