Kogi State command of Department of State Services, DSS, arrested Sunday Okafor, 21, in Lokoja as he was about to sell Prince Roberts, 2, for N200k. The state director of SSS, Mike Fumbara, noted that the syndicate specialised in kidnapping children and later
sell them out to their clients in Togo and Cameroun Republic.
Sunday was arrested on Saturday while preparing Prince for Contonou to be sold. Prince’s father, Henry Robert, said he had known Sunday for a long time and had been coming to his house to play with the boy but it never occurred to him that he had an ulterior motive….. its sad dt someone would want to sell an almost new baby for N200k when an ordinary second-hand kidney goes for over N1m on d global market……
