Bankole Charles, a rig worker with Halliburton Nig. Ltd, met Ms Loretta Odikagbo, 28, an OND holder in Marketing from the River State Polytechnic, on Badoo, in 2013, but he did not
know he had started a relationship that would end his life.
The bond later went sour when Loretta, at the peak of her affair, discovered that Charles was married with children. This did not go down well with her. When she confronted the late Charles, he allegedly promised her a car as settlement.
However, he failed or was unable to keep to his promise and this led to a chain of events that culminated in his unfortunate end. Loretta in the company of some accomplices, stormed the residence of Charles on September 19, 2014, and killed him.
She carried out the act with Ime Francis Moses (Jr), 30, a university dropout and another accomplice, a tout. She later went to withdraw N120k from Charles’ account through the ATM and gave Ime a huge sum of N28k as his share….. Following d incidence, d FG is now planning to ban all social media platforms in Nigeria……
