The Delta State Police Command on Monday paraded a 3rd year mass communication albino student of the Delta State University, Chinwe Bosah, who along with her boyfriend, George Itietie, made money from her mother by faking her kidnap. She is the
state coordinator of The Albino Foundation, Delta State Chapter. She connived with George and another friend, Sunday America, to arrange her kidnap and demand a ransom of N10m from her mother. They eventually got N500k.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Alkali Baba Usman, said Chinwe’s mother, Beatrice Bosah, reported that she had been kidnapped on December 12. Investigation revealed that Chinwe, on leaving Lagos went to George’s house in Port Harcourt, and planned with him to inform her parents that she was kidnapped.
She got N100k as her own share but now regretting her involvement in the act that has brought disgrace to her family that is well known.
