Stampede at Jonathan’s daughter’s wedding as police tear-gas guests. Some guests that attended the wedding yesterday got more than a plate of rice and well peppered goat meat when security agents, who had difficulties controlling the surging crowd, resorted to
the use of teargas.
Policemen, soldiers and officials of theDepartment of State Security made frantic efforts to push back some guests at the main gate. When the situation became too rowdy, they used tear gas. While scampering to safety, many people sustained various degrees of injury.
A pregnant woman, Oby, went into coma and was quickly rushed into an ambulance. When she could not be stabilized after about 15 minutes, she was rushed to a hospital. Good Samaritans helped to resuscitate many other people by pouring water on them….. it however took d timely intervention of some criminally cold cans of “Orijin drink” to resuscitate some ppl…..
