For some days now, Basketmouth has come under heavy fire from fans who are clearly upset with him. This is as a result him unveiling posters of himself, Wizkid and Olamide as headliners of
a Valentine show in London, England on February 14, 2015, the same day Nigerians will be deciding who will be the president for the next 4 years.
They claim Basketmouth should be a role model and shouldn’t fix a show for a date that clashes with the election. He has now come forward to address the issue by saying: “Every Valentines’ Day for the past 6 years, Basketmouth Uncensored UK has held. Had I known 6 years ago that the General election would hold on Valentines day in 2015, I wouldn’t have signed the Franchise.
