Samson Egunje, 12, has killed his friend, Samuel Igbekele, 10, for allegedly abusing him. This happened last Saturday night on Omoboriowo Street, Ikotun, Lagos State, when
Samuel was sent on an errand by a neighbor.
Samson who claimed Samuel insulted him in the morning, had been looking for him all day before he found him that night and stabbed him with a bottle on the neck. He was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed dead on arrival. .
The police investigations are almost concluded for the matter to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba….. ds is just tragic. If not for d fact dt Samson is a minor, one wld’ve said he shld b sent to 2 months in jail without an option of fine……
